U.S. support vital for South Caucasus stability: Deputy PM![]() July 3, 2025 - 19:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 2, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan attended an event marking U.S. Independence Day, where he delivered a congratulatory message. In his remarks, Grigoryan emphasized the significant role of the United States in establishing peace in the region. “We highly value the United States’ continued support for efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus. The Government of Armenia has repeatedly reaffirmed its commitment to a peace agenda based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of internationally recognized borders,” said the Deputy Prime Minister. He also noted that a peaceful environment would open up significant opportunities for foreign investment by creating a stable, predictable, and profitable setting for business. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
