Armenia and the United States are united by a historic friendship between our peoples, a shared commitment to democratic principles and Christian values, and an enduring dedication to freedom, dignity, and justice. Armenia places high importance on deepening its strategic partnership with the U.S. and expanding cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including trade, high technology, energy, mining, transportation, and infrastructure. I am confident that through joint efforts, we will elevate our relations to a new level for the benefit of both the Armenian and American peoples. I highly appreciate your vision for resolving conflicts worldwide and establishing peace. I am hopeful that under your leadership, the United States will play a crucial role in bringing lasting peace, stability, and prosperity to the South Caucasus. The Government of Armenia reaffirms its firm commitment to the peace agenda based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of internationally recognized borders, as well as the unblocking of regional infrastructure in line with the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ initiative. President Vahagn Khachaturyan also extended greetings to Trump, emphasizing the development of Armenian-American cooperation. “I am confident that, based on mutual trust, we will further enhance and strengthen the relations between Armenia and the United States by opening new areas of cooperation and giving special emphasis to the format of strategic partnership. I deeply value the continued support of the United States for democratic reforms in Armenia and efforts toward establishing peace and stability in the region,” his message stated. On January 14, a charter on strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States was signed at the U.S. State Department in Washington. The document was signed by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
