MP challenges prosecutor over PM’s warning![]() July 4, 2025 - 17:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Garnik Danielyan, an MP from the Armenia faction, raised the issue of possible undue influence by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly. He addressed Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, who was presenting a motion to authorize criminal proceedings against Artsvik Minasyan. Danielyan asked: “Is it not undue influence when Nikol Pashinyan makes statements from the National Assembly podium directed at the opposition, saying ‘I’ll take you all and fill the NSS basements with you’?” Panorama.am reports. The MP also demanded clarity on another issue, asking: “Is it not also undue influence when Pashinyan sends SMS messages, particularly to the Supreme Judicial Council and other power structures?” In response, Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan stated that the question was unrelated to the motion under discussion. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
