Erdogan voices support for peace pact honoring Azerbaijan claims

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed his country’s support for the Armenia–Azerbaijan peace agreement, noting it “takes into account Baku’s legitimate claims,” the Turkish presidential communications office reported.

The statement was made in Stepanakert during the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit, where Erdogan met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to Minval.az .

The summit on July 3–4 in Stepanakert also saw participation from the presidents of Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, and other regional leaders.
