  Аrmenian, Iranian Defense Ministers discuss cooperation July 9, 2025 - 17:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 9, Armenia’s Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan held a phone conversation with Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, according to Armenia’s Ministry of Defense. The discussion covered both regional and international security challenges, as well as key topics on the bilateral cooperation agenda. Both ministers emphasized the importance of reinforcing peace and stability in the region. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
