18 arrested in Sacred Struggle case

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the criminal case concerning Sacred Struggle leader Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, 18 individuals have been detained, according to Kima Avdalyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee . Charges include terrorism and preparing for usurping authority.

Archbishop Galstanyan and his supporters reject all accusations. Law enforcement conducted searches on June 25 at the residences of Sacred Movement leader Archbishop Bgrat and several other individuals, which led to arrests. According to the Investigative Committee, criminal proceedings have been initiated on charges of terrorism and plotting to seize power .
