Armenia’s population reaches 3.084 million as of July 1

PanARMENIAN.Net - As of July 1, 2025, Armenia’s permanent population stood at 3.084 million, with 1.974 million living in urban areas and 1.109 million in rural regions, according to data published by the Statistical Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, the population increased by 27,000, reports Factor.am .

The urban population grew by just over 1,000, while the rural population saw a more significant rise of 25,000.

According to the statistics, Yerevan is home to 1.143 million people. The most densely populated administrative district is Malatia-Sebastia, with 150,300 residents. The least populated is Nubarashen, with 11,200 residents.

Kotayk is the most densely populated province, with 294,900 residents, while Vayots Dzor is the least populated, with 49,400 people.
