Electricity, gas steam and air supply lead industrial growth

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the first half of 2025, Armenia saw the strongest expansion in industrial output in the electricity, gas, steam, and air supply sector, growing by 11.5 percent year‑on‑year, Armenpress reported citing the Statistical Committee.

Water supply, sewage, waste management, and recycling followed with a 1.1 percent increase, and the mining and quarrying sector recorded a 0.6 percent rise. Meanwhile, manufacturing output dropped sharply by 19.1 percent, dragging total industrial product volumes down 12.1 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
