44-day war inquiry report sent to parliament speaker

PanARMENIAN.Net - The investigative commission established to examine the circumstances of the 44-day war launched by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020, has submitted its report to the Speaker of the National Assembly. The announcement was made by the parliament’s Standing Committee on Defense and Security.

“In accordance with Article 25 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the report of the inquiry commission created to examine the circumstances of the 44-day military operations launched on September 27, 2020, has been sent to the Speaker of the National Assembly,” the statement said.

In April 2025, Commission Chair Andranik Kocharyan stated that the report would be published on the first or second day of the parliamentary session following September 27.

The commission investigating the causes and circumstances of the 44-day war was established on October 10, 2022.
