  Pashinyan thanks Trump for peace agreement mediation September 17, 2025 - 12:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump, highlighting his role in the agreement reached with Azerbaijan. “Once again, thank you, President Donald Trump, for mediating this historic agreement with Azerbaijan, something no one had achieved before. I reaffirm my commitment to continue working toward further institutionalizing peace and implementing TRIPP,” Pashinyan wrote. U.S. President Donald Trump had earlier referred to the August 8 summit in Washington, where Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met, stating it was an honor to befriend such great leaders. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
