RA security chief declines to detail NSS director’s Baku trip

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the 108th NATO Parliamentary Assembly Rose-Roth seminar in Yerevan, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan was asked about the recent trip of National Security Service (NSS) Director Andranik Simonyan to Baku.

“The NSS will speak about the director’s visit to Baku if there is a need,” Grigoryan told reporters, according to Auroranews.am .

In response to questions on the visit’s effectiveness or possible agreements regarding Armenian prisoners, he said only: “The NSS will provide all the information.”

Asked whether he himself planned a trip to Baku, Grigoryan replied: “There is no such discussion.”

From September 19 to 21, NSS Director Andranik Simonyan was in Baku to attend an international forum.
