Armenian minister, Web3 founder talk blockchain education, startups

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 9, Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan met with Gavin Wood, founder of the Web3 Foundation, co-founder of Ethereum, and a leading expert in blockchain technologies.

The discussion focused on strengthening Armenia’s position within the global Web3 ecosystem and promoting blockchain education and the development of professional competencies. The two also explored new formats of cooperation, including startup incubation and expanding investment opportunities.

In his remarks, Minister Hayrapetyan emphasized that such collaboration lays a vital foundation for integrating Armenia more deeply into the global blockchain community and creating valuable platforms for future tech professionals.

During the meeting, Gavin Wood also presented his plans to establish a Web3 University aimed at fostering technological, educational, and economic advancement.
