Papikyan outlines army reforms at military gathering

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 10, based on the annual training preparation plan, a four-day operational meeting began at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense, with participation from the leadership of the Armed Forces.

During the session, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with attendees. In his address, the minister presented the progress of ongoing reforms within the Armed Forces and touched on various regional security issues, according to the Ministry of Defense.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who attended the gathering, emphasized the importance of continued modernization of the army and the consistent implementation of steps in that direction.

Topics included the strategic vision for the development of Armenia’s Armed Forces, assessments of the evolving security environment, effective governance, and human resource development.
