PanARMENIAN.Net - RA ex-Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan noted at today's news conference, that in his opinion, economic index decrease of 6-12% is expected in Armenia in the end of 2009. "I'm sorry that the Government not only refrains from taking any steps to retain decrease level at 6% but even impairs the situation by the policy it conducts," he noted.

Commenting on RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan's statement on economic index increase of 1-2 %, expected in 2009 in Armenia, Hrant Bagratyan noted that sometimes he's surprised

a reasonable man like Tigran Sargsyan, allows himself to make such unprofessional statements.

According to Bagratyan, world financial crisis consequences will be mitigated no sooner than 2010 -2011. "In summer 2010 Europe will see some improvements, which will be continued in Russia, and only then could we make forecasts as to the situation in Armenia," Bagratyan stated.
