Fidan says Ankara continues talks with Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Ankara is continuing its dialogue with Armenia at various levels. According to him, Yerevan is demonstrating an open stance, APA reports.

“Yerevan is showing openness on the issue of normalizing relations, and both sides are working jointly to develop concrete steps,” Fidan stated during a speech in parliament.

Earlier, Prime Minister Pashinyan said that the ongoing positive dialogue between Armenia and Turkey gives hope that the border between the two countries could open in the near future.

“We are ready not only politically but also technically to facilitate the transit of cargo trucks through Armenia between Turkey and Azerbaijan, starting today. Both the roads and related infrastructure within Armenia—along the Margara–Yeghegnadzor–Sisian–Goris route—are fully prepared for this,” he said.
