Officials explore Armenia-EU agenda, regional initiatives

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 19, on the sidelines of the 46th Ministerial Session of the Francophonie in Kigali, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan met with Zoran Dimitrovski, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of North Macedonia.

The two officials discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between Armenia and North Macedonia in multilateral platforms and international organizations. The meeting also covered issues related to the Armenia-EU partnership agenda and preparations for the 8th European Political Community Summit, scheduled to be held in Armenia in 2026.

Abisoghomonyan briefed Dimitrovski on recent developments in the South Caucasus, emphasizing Armenia’s efforts to promote regional transport connectivity and infrastructure reopening. Particular attention was given to the Crossroads of Peace initiative proposed by the Armenian government.

They also explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual bilateral interest.
