Deputy FM says multiple railway links under discussion

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan stated that discussions between Armenia and Azerbaijan on possible railway connections go beyond the TRIPP project. He was responding to a question about whether the reopening of the Baku–Gazakh–Ijevan railway line was being considered, Aysor.am reports.

According to Kostanyan, discussions on broader regional unblocking are underway, and “in addition to the TRIPP route, other railway possibilities are also being examined.” However, he did not provide further details.

Recently, Azerbaijani pro-government outlet Minval reported that Baku is considering the restoration of the Baku–Gazakh–Ijevan railway line.
