According to the case files, Aghazaryan allegedly demanded $200,000 in exchange for mediating the export of 150,000–200,000 small livestock animals without quarantine. Additionally, he is accused of seeking $23,000 to facilitate the approval of a construction permit for a multi-apartment building on property belonging to a school. The lawmaker faces charges under two separate legal provisions. No further details were released regarding court dates or potential penalties.
