EADB forecasts 5.3% GDP growth for Armenia in 2026![]() December 20, 2025 - 13:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the Eurasian Development Bank (EADB), Armenia’s economy is projected to grow by 5.3% in 2026, maintaining a strong growth trajectory. Inflation at the end of 2026 is forecast at 3.3%. The average annual exchange rate of the dram is expected to be 393 per U.S. dollar, driven by an increase in import volumes and high domestic demand, reports Pastinfo. The bank also noted that the combined GDP growth of all seven EADB member states will reach 2.3% in 2026. Most member countries are expected to maintain high economic activity. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
