In an interview with the Nobel YouTube channel, Tiknizyan said that in addition to Armenian, Russian, and Serbian passports, he has also obtained U.S. citizenship, Auroranews.am reports. Asked why he needs a U.S. passport, the footballer replied humorously: “Why do I need this passport? Because every self-respecting Armenian should have a U.S. passport.” Tiknizyan joined Red Star Belgrade during the 2025 summer transfer window.
