Political consultations held on Armenia–Iran partnership

PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 8, regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Iran were held in Yerevan. The discussions were led by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi.

The two sides reviewed the broad spectrum of Armenia–Iran bilateral cooperation, as well as recent regional and international developments.

Kostanyan and Ravanchi noted the growing momentum in cooperation between the two countries, reflected in mutual visits at various levels. Both sides reaffirmed the commitment of their respective leaders to elevate bilateral ties to the level of strategic partnership.

They discussed cooperation prospects across multiple fields, including energy, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, tourism, and more. Progress on ongoing projects and opportunities for further development were also reviewed.

Kostanyan specifically highlighted initiatives aimed at enhancing regional connectivity, emphasizing the potential of the TRIPP corridor project to promote both economic integration and regional stability.
