Next step is progress with Turkey, says Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Speaking at the “Armenia and Peace: At the Crossroads of Risks and Opportunities” forum, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the next logical step following the Armenia–U.S. cooperation under the TRIPP initiative would be progress in Armenia–Turkey relations.

"We hope that the processes which have been logically resolved at the level of political dialogue will also manifest themselves on the ground. We are in an unbelievably positive and optimistic environment," said Pashinyan, according to Aysor.am .

He emphasized that while the current situation does not represent the final resolution of all issues, he is confident that the formulas for resolving them have already been found.

"But we have found all the solution formulas," he stated.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed a bilateral cooperation document under the TRIPP project during their meeting in Washington.

The published document outlines the operational framework of the initiative and is not intended to create legal obligations for either Armenia or the United States.
