One Artsakh evacuee hospitalized in Goris, others stable![]() January 23, 2026 - 17:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - One of the citizens recently relocated from Artsakh to Armenia has been hospitalized at the Goris Medical Center, according to Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan. “Our medical team was dispatched to receive our 11 compatriots who arrived from Nagorno-Karabakh on January 23, prepared to provide emergency care if needed. All have undergone medical evaluations, and one individual has been hospitalized in Goris for further testing,” Avanesyan wrote on Facebook. She added that the remaining 10 individuals are in satisfactory condition. Earlier, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan reported that ten ethnic Armenians and one ethnic Russian Armenian citizen residing in Artsakh had requested transfer to Armenia through relevant authorities in Azerbaijan and Armenia, and were relocated accordingly. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
