Armenian artifacts to be displayed at Аcropolis Мuseum![]() February 10, 2026 - 16:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Artifacts from Armenia’s History Museum will be exhibited at the Acropolis Museum in Athens, according to Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, who spoke during a parliamentary session on the ratification of an agreement between Armenia and Greece to prevent the illegal circulation of cultural property. “In just a few days, our History Museum will sign a memorandum with the Acropolis Museum, and this year, our museum's artifacts will already be on display there,” she said, as reported by 1lurer.am. Regarding the agreement, the minister explained that it establishes cooperation in areas concerning the theft of cultural assets, illegal excavations, imports, exports, transit, and the prevention of unlawful ownership transfers. “We will have the opportunity to share information with Greece on the theft, illicit excavation, import, export, and transit of cultural assets of interest. Additionally, we will be able to implement specialist exchange and training programs,” she said. According to Andreasyan, this will also contribute to identifying and returning cultural assets that have been unlawfully removed from either country’s territory.
