Average monthly salary in Armenia grew by 13.4 per cent in January-May this yearJune 19, 2009 - 21:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The average nominal monthly salary in Armenia grew by 13.4 per cent in January-May this year compared with the same period of the previous year, and reached 97 527 AMD (without taking into account the price growth factor), the RA National Statistical Service reports. In government-financed organizations salary grew by 17.6 per cent and reached 80 857 AMD, and in non- state-financed organizations amounted 121 990 AMD, growing by 7.9 per cent. At the same time, average nominal monthly salary reduced by 2.2 per cent in May compared with April of 2009. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision.
