The first match took place on February 21 at Friendship Park in Gyumri and ended with an 11:8 victory for the Armenian players. The following day, the teams also faced off in Yerevan, where Armenia again prevailed, this time with a 10:4 scoreline, Factor.am reports. Ahead of the game in Gyumri, organizers presented an extensive cultural program. The event was held with the support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Armenia. Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28. Armenian gymnast, Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan has reached the finals of the World Cup.
