Religious Summit at Rome passed a statement addressed to G8

PanARMENIAN.Net - Recently, 4th Religious Leaders' Summit due in Rome, dedicated to the oncoming G8 meeting, completed its work. As the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia's Press Service reported to PanARMENIAN.Net Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, World Council of Churches Chairman participated in the work of the summit.



Summit participants delivered a joint statement emphasizing the necessity of giving complex solutions to current problems, as well as peace and security provision. The statement was passed to official representative of Italian Government, to be announced to all G8 leaders. Aram I met different religious confessions' representatives within summit framework.
