Armenian Security Council discusses regional developments

PanARMENIAN.Net - A meeting of Armenia’s Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The session was also attended by National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan and other officials.

Participants discussed the situation developing in the region. The prime minister was also briefed on the implementation of previously issued instructions.

On February 28, Israel and the U.S. carried out airstrikes on Iran, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran responded by launching attacks toward Israel and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.
