Mirzoyan, Sikorski discuss Middle East developments

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan discussed developments in the Middle East and possible ways to resolve the situation during a phone call with Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.

Mirzoyan and Sikorski emphasized the importance of deepening Armenia–Poland partnership both bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union.

During the conversation, the sides also addressed upcoming high-level visits and planned events.

On February 28, Israel and the United States carried out airstrikes against Iran. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed as a result of the strikes. Iran subsequently launched retaliatory attacks against Israel and several Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.
