Armenia promotes travel packages at Moscow expo

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Tourism Committee, together with Armenian travel companies, presented the country’s tourism potential and available travel packages at the MITT 2026 international tourism exhibition.

During the event, Tourism Committee Chair Lusine Gevorgyan held several meetings with international partners and industry representatives.

Among them were Nikita Kondratyev, head of the Department for Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects at Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development, the department’s deputy head Igor Maksimov, and Yevgeny Kozlov, head of the Moscow Tourism Committee, the Tourism Committee said.

The meetings focused on opportunities to expand cooperation in the tourism sector, recent developments in the industry, and the importance of strengthening ties between the public and private sectors of the two countries.

Summing up the results of the MITT 2026 international tourism exhibition, the committee said the event had become another important platform for presenting Armenia internationally as a tourism destination.
