Armenia, Serbia expand political dialogue![]() May 6, 2026 - 12:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric exchanged views on regional and international developments during the Yerevan Dialogue international forum. The meeting focused on opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The sides also welcomed the expansion of diplomatic presence in each other’s capitals and agreed to continue developing mutually beneficial political dialogue through future visits. The 8th summit of the European Political Community was held in Yerevan on May 4, followed by the first Armenia-European Union summit. Around 50 high-level delegations arrived in Armenia for the gathering, including European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. French President Emmanuel Macron also visited Yerevan, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky paid his first visit to Armenia. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
