Wings of Unity criticizes reduced passport services![]() May 14, 2026 - 19:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The decision to optimize passport service offices should be reconsidered, Wings of Unity party representative Davit Ananyan said during a campaign event in Maralik. During the Wings of Unity party’s election campaign in Maralik, a local resident complained about the consequences of consolidating passport offices, noting that residents of the Ani community are now forced to travel to Artik for passport-related services, Aysor.am reported. In response, party governing council member Davit Ananyan said the decision should be reviewed. “We must restore them, because if a person in Maralik has an issue related to passport services, they should not have to travel kilometers to Artik and still not know whether their turn will come or not,” Ananyan said. According to him, the optimization process has not simplified matters for citizens but instead created additional difficulties. The election campaign launched on May 8 will continue until June 5. June 6 will be a day of silence, while elections will be held on June 7. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
