ENA management denies election blackout claims![]() July 1, 2026 - 11:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The management of the Electric Networks of Armenia has denied media reports claiming that widespread power outages occurred at several polling stations on the day of the parliamentary elections. The company said reports alleging outages at polling stations 13/7, 13/6, 14/4, 13/37, 13/44, 18/14, 15/53, 15/54, 12/49 and 14/44 are false and defamatory, damaging its business reputation. "The company has formally sent the relevant media organizations requests to retract the published information. If those requests are ignored or left unanswered, the company will seek to protect its rights through the courts," the statement said. Electric Networks of Armenia also called on media outlets to refrain from publishing unverified and inaccurate information about the company and to uphold the principles of impartial journalism and professional responsibility. On June 14, the final results of the June 7 parliamentary elections were announced. Civil Contract received 726,819 votes, or 49.7456%, Strong Armenia won 340,006 votes, or 23.2710%, while the Hayastan Alliance secured 144,983 votes, or 9.9231%. Prosperous Armenia failed to pass the 4% threshold, receiving 58,287 votes, or 3.9893%. Civil Contract will hold 64 parliamentary seats, including three reserved for national minority representatives. Strong Armenia will have 29 seats, including one representing the Assyrian community, while the Hayastan Alliance will hold 12 seats. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
