Russia sends wheat to Armenia via Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Seven railway cars loaded with Russian wheat, carrying a combined 490 tonnes, will be sent to Armenia via Azerbaijani territory, APA reported.

According to the report, the grain shipment is scheduled to depart Azerbaijan for Armenia on July 13.

Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that more than 40,000 tonnes of cargo from Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries had already been transported to Armenia through Azerbaijan.

As of July 6, Azerbaijan had also shipped more than 14,000 tonnes of diesel fuel and about 5,000 tonnes of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline to Armenia.
