RA ambassador meets U.S. Congressman Raskin

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan met with U.S. Congressman Jamie Raskin to discuss the current state of Armenia–U.S. relations and the main areas of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Mkrtchyan presented recent developments in the partnership between the two countries, while the two sides exchanged views on the bilateral agenda and other issues of mutual interest.

Both participants underscored the importance of maintaining the positive momentum in Armenia–U.S. cooperation and continuing to strengthen ties.

The Armenian government has launched the ratification process for the framework agreement on strategic cooperation with the United States under the TRIPP project. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced the move during a Cabinet meeting while presenting draft legislation to parliament on ratifying the framework agreement for the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative.
