During the interview, Mantashyan presented Armenia's vision and ongoing artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, discussing the country's development as an emerging global AI hub, the importance of talent and human capital, cooperation with NVIDIA and other leading technology companies, the development of AI infrastructure, data centers, and energy capacity, as well as responsible AI governance and the introduction of open-source AI solutions across the public sector. The discussion also explored the prospects for building sovereign AI capabilities in small countries, the role of the Armenian diaspora in advancing the sector, the future development of AI Factories, and the importance of international cooperation as one of the key prerequisites for global AI progress and the creation of competitive AI ecosystems.
