HEYDAR ALIYEV CALLED ASHKHABAD SUMMIT IMPORTANT EVENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - In Ashkhabad the summit of the heads of the Caspian states finished. The main issue for the discussion at the summit was the issue of the status of the Caspian Sea. «Arminfo» news agency, referring to «Turan» agency, reports Azeri President, after his return from Ashghabad, called the summit «a very important event». He noted the heads of the states had opportunity to express their position regarding the status of the Caspian Sea. President noted they should be guided by the practice they had had and the principle of the middle line based on the regulations of the international right. Heydar Aliyev said the Presidents had not passed the final declaration because of its incompleteness and charged the diplomats to continue this work.
