Today active phase of large-scale military exercises are finalized at the Marshal Bagramyan training ground in Armenia, attended by the Armenian peacekeepers and special forces. Armenian defense minister Seyran Ohanyan and the first deputy minister and chief of general staff Yuri Khachaturov, as well as other high-ranking military officials observed the course of exercises. Shooting and landing from helicopters were practiced during exercises. According to Colonel Artur Simonyan, the exercises involved about 900 soldiers and officers of the Armenian army.
