Sharp criticism awaits RA President in Armenian communities

PanARMENIAN.Net - A tour to world's major Armenian communities is a brave step, Lebanese MP, Gnchak Social Democratic Party member Sepuh Kalpakyan told a news conference in Yerevan. "We support RA President's step, yet we believe he'll face many difficulties during this tour. Sharp criticism awaits RA President in Armenian communities, especially so in Beirut," Sepuh Kalpakyan noted.

According to him, the President should have met Diaspora before RA-Turkish Protocols' publication.

President Serzh Sargsyan will visit and have regional meetings in New York City, Paris, Los Angeles, Beirut and Rostov-on-Don within pan-Armenian tour frameworks. The purpose of President Serzh Sargsyan's visit to major Armenian communities of the world is to become familiar with views and attitudes of the Armenian Diaspora in regard to normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.
