Henrik Mamyan awarded the Medal "Hagop Mehapart" on his 75th anniversary

PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Library of Armenia on October 20 hosted a presentation of the book-album of Henrik Mamyan , with more than 200 works of the artist: graphics, murals and landscape. 



The National Library awarded Henrik Mamyan with the Medal "Hagop Meghapart" (the first Armenian editor)  timed to his 75th anniversary



The book-album of Henry Mamyan was published with assistance of Hovhannes Tokmanjyan, rector of the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction. 



Henrik Mamyan is graphic artist, professor, Honored Artist of Armenia. He is a master of book decoration. He does not merely illustrate the book, he gently passes them a new breath. He illustrated only truly outstanding works: "The old gods" of Levon Shant, which is in his opinion, is "the his most successful work, "The violent mob" of Eghishe Charents, "Slave" of Daniel Varuzhan, "Tale of Love and sword" of Vahagn Davtyan, "Abu-Lala Mahari" of Avetik Isahakyan, "Mtsyri" of Yuri Lermontov.
