Armenia raised the issue of Baku's TCAFE violation in UNO

PanARMENIAN.Net - UNO General Assembly for disarmament and international security issues held a sitting attended by Armenian and Azeri representatives. Armenia's UNO permanent representative, Ambassador Karen Nazaryan emphasized the importance of disarmament treaties concluded within international and regional organizations' frameworks.



RA Ambassador raised the issue of Baku's violation of Treaty on Conventional Armed Forced in Europe, noting that according to UNO and OSCE official information, Azerbaijan continues armament buildup, exceeding maximal TCAFE- stipulated level.



Armenia's UNO permanent representative added that Azeri governments' obvious violations, as well as anti-Armenian statements pose a threat to regional security and could have a negative impact on NKR conflict settlement.



Azeri representative's statement contained reiterated notes on "20% Azeri territories' occupations" and "weapons, concealed in Karabakh", RA MFA press service reported.
