  Armenia marks 10th anniversary of parliament shootingOctober 27, 2009 - 11:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, National Security Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan and other officials attended Yerablur Pantheon to lay flowers to the tombs of Vazgen Sargsyan, who was assassinated ten years ago, and national hero Andranik Ozanyan. Prime Minister of Armenia Vazgen Sargsyan and 7 other high-ranking officials were shot dead by a group of terrorists on October 27, 1999. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
