Armenian school children participated in all-Uklrainian Tournament for Young Chemists

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ayb-2009 Armenian schoolchildren's team which participated in All-Uklrainian Tournament for Young Chemists returned to Yerevan on October 29. Contest brought together 19 teams representing Ukraine, Russia (1 team) and Armenia (Ayb-2009). Armenian team consisted of 5 high school students from the schools of Yerevan and Vanadzor.



Team supervisor Nina Obosyan - Candidate of Chemical Studies and teacher in school N. 84 of Yerevan, was previously the trainer of Vadim Georgiadi team, many-times champion of all-USSR chemistry contests.



Armenian team participated in the event upon the initiative of Ayb educational foundation. Armenian schoolchildren's participation was inestimable in terms of both scientific-educational development and establishment of international ties. However¸ the foundation's objective was to thoroughly study the organizational procedures of all-Ukrainian contest for applying the model in Armenian beginning next year.
