Monopolies impede the Armenian economy to cope with the crisis

PanARMENIAN.Net - The economic downturn of the Armenian economy will continue in 2010, Artsvik Minasyan, member of the ARF faction told a press conference in Yerevan. According to him, the reduction of private transfers to Armenia will continue negatively affect the economy.



Another factor that impeding the economy of Armenia, is strengthening of monopolictic companies. According to him, the growth of prices for essential goods is conditioned by monopolies, which seek to aggregate big capitals quickly. "It is clear that the government cannot get rid of the requirements imposed by monopolies, " he stressed.
