USA President was present at the grand opening. The Armenian Olympic team includes 9 sportsmen: mountain-skier Arsen Arutyunyan, skaters Aram Gajinian, Margarita Nikolian, mountain-skier Vanessa Rakejian living in France, figure skaters Yuliya Lebedeva, Mariya Krasiltseva and Artem Znachkov living in Russia and two sportsmen from the USA. National Assembly deputy Vardevan Grigorian leads the Armenian delegation.
