Edward Nalbandian attending EPP informal meeting

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian is in Rome to attend an informal meeting of the European People's Party (EPP) which brought together Deputy Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers of a number of European countries.



The officials are expected to discuss cooperation within Europe and implementation of Eastern Partnership initiative, RA MFA press office reported.



The European People's Party (EPP) is a center-right European political party. Founded in 1976, the EPP has 74 member-parties from 39 countries, 19 Heads of Government (13 EU and 6 non-EU), 13 European Commissioners (including the President). It’s the largest Group in the European Parliament with 265 members.
