Yerevan-London flight canceled due to Icelandic volcano ash

PanARMENIAN.Net - All flights in and out of Heathrow and Stansted airports were suspended because of ash clouds drifting from Iceland's spewing volcano, AP reported

“Yerevan-London flight is delayed for an uncertain period of time,” a representative of British Airways told a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent.

Hundreds of flights across Britain have already been canceled, and airports in Scotland closed.

A spokeswoman for BAA said the decision was being made "due to airspace restrictions, in accordance with international regulations."
