Dorvard Hakobyan: my paintings are reflection of my thoughtsMay 7, 2010 - 23:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A jubilee exhibition of Armenian painter Dorvard Hakobyan opened in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on May 3. “My paintings are reflection of my thoughts,” the painter said. “Dorvard Hakobyan’s paintings are filled with sincerity,” Forum gallery director, artist Nikolay Tepliy said in his opening remarks. Dorvard Hakobyan was born in 1943 in Yerevan. A physicist, he is the author of over 140 scientific works. Among his pictures are “Birches”, “Phantom” , “Farewell Ararat”, “My Armenia” and others.
