  Sergey Shakhverdyan: tourists have some vigilance towards NKR May 18, 2010 - 20:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of Tourism Department under the NKR government Sergey Shakhverdyan said that tourists have some vigilance towards NKR, but the republic’s leadership is trying to solve this problem. Currently, truth about Artsakh is being presented through international travelling structures, Shakhverdyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter at a presentation of a guide on Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh in Italian language. Azerbaijan, as a defeated party, is doing its best to oppose to the international recognition of NKR, as well as to the development of tourism in NKR. In 2009, 13% growth was recorded in tourism that is a good index for Nagorno Karabakh, said Shakhverdyan.
