  RA NA Speaker to attend Conference of Presidents of Parliament June 4, 2010 - 18:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The next Conference of Presidents of Parliament will be held in Limassol (Cyprus) from June 10 to 12, 2010, the Council of Europe said on its website. The Conference is composed of Speakers and Presidents of the Parliaments of the Member States of the Council of Europe and parliaments enjoying observer status with PACE and international parliamentary assemblies. As an informed source told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan will be participating. The themes of the Conference will be: Rights and Responsibilities of the Opposition in a Parliament; National Parliaments and International Human Rights law: implementation of the principle of non-discrimination.
